    • You have basic digital skills and a good understanding of systems.
    • Experience in a customer-facing or food/retail environment in a leadership role is preferred, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
    • You can communicate in basic English, both verbally and in writing.
    • You are flexible to work on a rotating schedule, including weekends and public holidays.

    Your responsibilities

    • Support the implementation of global and national compliance standards to ensure a safe environment for customers and co-workers.
    • Secure consistently excellent customer experience by supporting, coaching, and challenging co-workers to see through the customers’ eyes.
    • Ensure that food safety, operational standards, quality routines, and waste reduction processes are followed daily.
    • Implement sales steering and retail foundations to optimize commercial performance and operational excellence.
    • Contribute to the implementation of the IKEA Retail Food commercial plan and communication strategy.
    • Act on customer feedback, recognize good customer service, and take appropriate action to avoid repeated issues.
    • Identify improvement areas in customer-facing spaces and take relevant actions to maintain them in excellent condition.
    • Contribute to the implementation of the unit business plan and the IKEA Retail Food business plan.
    • Build the competence of the team through regular coaching, feedback, support, and encouragement.
    • Contribute to recruitment, onboarding, and talent development within the department.
    • Support the implementation of IKEA’s people and sustainability strategies and contribute to a positive working environment.

    IKEA Food plays an important role in the overall IKEA brand experience, helping create a more enjoyable and satisfying visit for customers. As an IKEA Food Team Leader, you will contribute to both the operational and commercial success of the food business in the store. You will play an important role in strengthening the customer experience, ensuring food safety and operational efficiency, and developing the competence of your team while working closely with colleagues across the business.
