What you'll be doing day to day
We are offering two internships in this area:
Internship 1: Marketing Activation – Analysis & Tracking
Join the digital product area for Adtech & Paid Media in Marketing Activation team and play a key role in connecting data insights to impactful marketing actions. As an intern, you will:
• Support the team in preparing data-driven presentations and visual storytelling using PowerPoint and Google BigQuery.
• Assist in documentation, process mapping, and internal communication materials.
• Perform data analysis using tools like SQL to uncover patterns in customer engagement and media performance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to explore how tracking and measurement capabilities can improve marketing effectiveness.
You’ll gain hands-on experience at the intersection of marketing and technology, with the opportunity to work closely with specialists in data, measurement, and omnichannel activation.
Internship 2: Online Analytics - Attribution
Join the digital product areas for IKEA Web & App in the Online Analytics team and play a key role in attributing revenue to online behaviour. As an intern, you will:
• Collaborate cross-functionally to identify what tracking is available in our digital sales channels (Web & App) and their constituents (digital products, pages, components) and how to enhance it to facilitate attribution modelling
• Use Data Science / Machine Learning to build an attribution model for the revenue coming in through our digital sales channels
• Support the team in building insights and reports detailing how much revenue can be attributed to different parts of our online experience.
You’ll gain hands-on experience in the fields of online analytics, data science & machine learning, with the opportunity to work closely with specialists in data and digital products.

We only accept students who live within commuting distance to the office in Malmö during the time of the internship, and who are connected to a university within the country. To participate in this internship, you must be enrolled in a relevant university program or educational course. Full-time is favoured, but a minimum of 50% per week is acceptable. No exceptions will be made.
This is an unpaid internship intended to complement academic studies. However, we offer a valuable learning experience, close mentorship, and the opportunity to grow within a supportive and dynamic team.
Duration: Fall 2025. Start date: September 1st 2025.
