    What you'll be doing day to day
    We are offering two internships in in this area:

    1) Offensive Security Testing (O.S.T) Internship

    As an offensive security testing intern at IKEA, your day involves identifying security vulnerabilities in products, conducting tests using various tools and techniques, and documenting findings. You collaborate with experienced security professionals, participate in team meetings, and engage in real-world projects. Continuous learning is essential, ensuring you develop the skills necessary to contribute effectively to the security team and advance your career.

    Are you passionate about problem-solving and identifying vulnerabilities in digital security within IKEA products? Our Offensive Security Testing Internship offers a comprehensive learning experience designed to equip you with the skills needed for security testing challenges. By engaging in hands-on projects and leveraging internal resources and external platforms, you will develop the expertise required to make meaningful contributions to IKEA and advance your future career.

    2) Software Security Team Internship

    The Software Security team's purpose is to enable Ingka and its engineers to unify and standardize the approach to security by design. In our goals to standardize, empower and automate the approach to security we work not only with processes and tools but also with our most important asset; people.

    As a Software Security intern, you should have basic coding knowledge. Your primary responsibility will be assisting with various automation tasks surrounding our software security program.

    Please read the following before applying:

    Send your CV and motivational letter in English by April 21st at the latest. We will run the process of matching interns and areas continuously, so please apply as soon as possible.

    We only accept students who live within commuting distance to the office in Malmö during the time of the internship, and who are connected to a university within the country. To participate in this internship, you must be enrolled in a relevant university program or educational course. Full-time is favoured, but a minimum of 50% per week is acceptable. No exceptions will be made.

    This is an unpaid internship intended to complement academic studies. However, we offer a valuable learning experience, close mentorship, and the opportunity to grow within a supportive and dynamic team.

    Duration: Fall 2025. Start date: September 1st 2025.
