  • Who you are

IKEA, a global leader in home furnishing solutions, has been growing in France for over 40 years with the same vision: “to create a better everyday life for the many people.” Driven by our culture and values, we are passionate about life at home.
At IKEA, we live the Swedish culture every day. And, just like in Sweden, we use first names and speak informally with each other, regardless of role or function. That’s why we take this approach from this job ad and throughout the entire recruitment process!
You are passionate about people, our business, and IKEA’s goals, and you are enthusiastic about continuously improving performance. You are eager to contribute to overall success and results, and you are motivated to create even more value for customers while acting as the voice of customers and consumers within the business.
You have 10 years of experience in Business Intelligence, customer and consumer insights or equivalent, as well as experience in leading and managing leaders and teams across different disciplines.
You are an expert in setting direction, defining goals, and building both strategic and operational plans, as well as tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
You have advanced project management and change management skills, and you know how to apply them in an agile environment requiring cross-functional collaboration.
You are able to understand and clarify complex situations and interdependencies, and to translate internal and market data (both micro and macro) into actionable business insights. In addition, you are capable of coaching and leading a team while delivering engaging communication with the IKEA tone of voice.

In the role of Country Consumer Insights Manager, you are responsible for enabling sharp, well-informed decision-making across IKEA France, grounded in continuously evolving knowledge of customers, consumers, the market, the brand, and commercial performance, in order to achieve both short- and long-term business goals.
    In this role, you will:

Be responsible for managing the financial and human resources of your function: oversee People Planning within the Insights team, as well as external suppliers. Develop commercially actionable knowledge about the brand and the business to support the country strategy process. Build and manage the functional budget, ensuring approval, forecasting, tracking, and coordination with the Country Digital Manager to achieve IKEA France objectives.

Actively contribute as a member of the Country Digital Leadership Team, proactively shaping the country strategy.

Lead, coach, and develop the Insights function.

Drive the development and effective implementation of robust strategies, based on deep knowledge of customers, consumers, the market, and the IKEA brand, working cross-functionally with stakeholders.

Lead a cross-functional network of analysts and leaders from different functions, both within and beyond the commercial side of the business, to support the creation of consolidated insights.

Ensure and contribute to the effective deployment of global initiatives and tools in the local market.

Support the IKEA France management team and global projects within the Insights community.

Contribute to key decision-making processes and business planning, bringing functional expertise and insights to the IKEA France management team.

Lead, coach, and develop a team of leaders, fostering an open culture based on our values, in close partnership with P&C (People & Culture).

Actively drive interdependent leadership and strong collaboration across all functions and units, both within and beyond the Digital team.

For this role, you will report to the Country Digital Manager.
