    Additional Information:
    • These positions are temporary part-time roles, offering 30 or 40 hours per fortnight. The contracts are scheduled to conclude at the end of January 2027.
    • Positions are available across our Food, Sales, and Customer Service functions. In your application, please select all areas that interest you
    • As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts. You also have the availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends in a month (both Saturday and Sunday).
    • Interviews will commence the week of 28 September. If your application is successful in progressing to the next stage, we ask that you're available to attend an interview during this week.
    • If you are successful for this role, you will be required to start in your role on the 19th of October and attend a 2-day Welcome induction.





    About this work area

    As an IKEA Co-worker, you'll help create an inspiring, welcoming and enjoyable experience for our customers while supporting the daily operations of the store. Depending on business needs, you may have the opportunity to work across a variety of customer-focused areas, including Sales, Customer Relations and IKEA Food. Each department plays an important role in delivering the IKEA experience and supporting the many people.

    Sales
    Our Sales team helps customers bring their home furnishing dreams to life. By understanding customers' needs, providing product knowledge, and sharing home furnishing solutions, Sales Co-workers create inspiring shopping experiences and make it easy for customers to find the products and services that best meet their needs.

    Customer
    The Customer team is at the heart of delivering a seamless customer experience. Whether welcoming customers, supporting self-service areas, assisting at check-outs, processing returns, handling cash and electronic payments accurately and efficiently, or helping with customer enquiries, this team ensures every interaction is positive, efficient and memorable.

    IKEA Food
    IKEA Food creates enjoyable dining experiences that complement every visit to IKEA. From preparing and serving food and beverages to maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards, IKEA Food Co-workers help create a welcoming environment for customers to relax, recharge and enjoy a taste of Sweden.

    As an IKEA Co-worker, your responsibilities may include:
