    Your responsibilities

    • Deliver a consistently excellent shopping experience by leading and coaching the team to put customers first.
    • Ensure compliance with global and national food safety, hygiene, and operational standards.
    • Drive food safety, quality, waste reduction, and daily operational excellence across the department.
    • Implement retail foundations and sales steering tools to maximize commercial performance.
    • Execute the IKEA Retail Food commercial plan, communication strategy, and business action plans.
    • Monitor customer feedback, recognize excellent service, and take corrective actions to improve the customer experience.
    • Maintain customer-facing food areas to ensure they are attractive, well-presented, and aligned with IKEA standards.
    • Lead, coach, and develop co-workers to build competence, engagement, and high performance.
    • Support recruitment, onboarding, and development of talent within the department.
    • Implement IKEA's people and sustainability strategies in daily operations.
    • Act as a commercial business partner, contributing to the growth and profitability of the IKEA Food business.
    • Promote IKEA as a great place to work while fostering a safe, inclusive, and collaborative work environment.
