    • Who you are

    We are looking for a passionate and commercial IKEA Food Manager who can blend the Swedish food culture with strong commercial leadership to drive business growth, team development and customer satisfaction.

    • You have strong knowledge of IKEA Concept, Brand, Culture & Values, IKEA Food business solutions, compliance standards, food safety standards, local food legislations, HACCP, sustainability in food, national business direction, consumer and market conditions and customer buying behaviour.

    • You have a great passion for food, with a deep appreciation for quality, taste and the IKEA food identity, and you are able to connect Swedish food culture with business growth and customer experience. You are inspired by IKEA culture and values, sales driven, and motivated by creating a better everyday life for the many people through food.

    • You have strong commercial capability and business sense, with the ability to analyse business data, identify market trends and customer needs, and seize commercial opportunities to maximise growth and profitability. You understand the local market, competition and customer behaviour, and use these insights to develop the business.

    • You are a decisive and results-oriented leader who can turn strategic plans into actionable daily operations quickly and effectively. You combine strategic thinking with strong planning capabilities, balancing long-term goals with short-term operational priorities, and you do not only operate the business but develop the business with a branding mindset in everything you do.

    • You have a caring and customer-centric mindset with high standards for the customer experience, always striving to exceed customer expectations through excellent service, production quality and product presentation.

    • You have strong communication and influencing skills, build trustful relationships and apply tactical and operational abilities in your daily work. You also have well developed planning and organisational skills and the ability to identify new business opportunities.

    • You are a strong leader with proven experience in leading, mentoring, coaching and developing diverse teams, fostering a culture of togetherness and growth through IKEA value-based leadership. You lead and develop people, inspire and clarify, create togetherness, find better ways and enable change.

    Your responsibilities

    • Be accountable for the sales and profitability of the function, the quality of food, food safety, legal compliance, customer experience and the people agenda in the store.

    • Act as a commercial business partner within the IKEA business in the store and contribute to long term sustainable growth, profitability, customer experience and brand positioning by developing the IKEA Food business with a strong commercial and brand mindset.

    • Strengthen the IKEA brand by safeguarding a high quality, safe and inspirational customer experience and by securing a joyful, healthy, sustainable and affordable food experience for customers.

    • Ensure that global and national compliance standards are met to secure a safe environment for customers and co-workers and to maintain high standards in food safety, production quality and operational excellence.

    • Be responsible for maximising sales and profitability through commercial and operational excellence, acting on insights from customer behaviour, local market potential, business data, market trends and competitive analysis.

    • Turn strategic priorities into clear and effective daily actions, ensuring strong execution while balancing long-term business development with short-term operational needs.

    • Ensure that the store is locally relevant throughout the different sales channels by collaborating with the team and other functions in order to attract visitors, meet customer needs and strengthen the IKEA Food offer.

    • Ensure IKEA Food financial results according to unit, national and global frames and contribute to the creation and implementation of the unit yearly action plan.
    • Lead and coach the store to optimise and develop the IKEA Retail Food business, considering the IKEA brand position, strategies, legal compliance and people and planet positive priorities.

    • Contribute to the overall business success of the store as a member of the steering group and secure a lean, diverse and high performing team through building IKEA Food and IKEA competence and leadership and empowering co-workers to act on their own initiative.
