We are establishing a new, outcome-led Development & Transformation function, and we are seeking a Development & Transformation Programme Manager to be part of this journey. You will be instrumental in executing and embedding this new function's streamlined and focused approach to transformation. This will drive faster growth, optimize costs, enable clearer strategic choices, and deliver scalable solutions across our diverse markets, all with a clear focus on measurable impact and outcomes.

    You are a highly experienced and entrepreneurial leader, energized by the challenge of driving large-scale transformation within complex, dynamic environments. With a results- and outcome-focused mindset, you excel at bringing strategic initiatives to life, inspiring and clarifying direction for diverse teams and stakeholders. Your decision-making is sharp, pragmatic, and consistently focused on delivering sustainable business change that drives measurable impact.

    You bring:
    • Program & transformation expertise: 10+ years of extensive experience driving large-scale transformation and delivering business change in complex environments with interdependencies.
    • Leadership capability: 7+ years of impactful leadership, with proven experience leading and inspiring others, skilled at driving strategic growth initiatives, achieving outcomes, and fostering engagement through exceptional communication and stakeholder management.
    • Delivery & commercial acumen: Strong commercial and financial understanding, including business cases, budget management, and benefit realization, with the ability to create structure and simplicity in follow-ups to secure progress and outcome.
    • Strategic execution & business understanding: A solid understanding of global retail and real estate operating models, translating strategy and transformation into sustainable business change.
    • Relevant industry experience & growth mindset: Minimum 9 years of experience within retail and/or real estate, focusing on transformation, change, and customer-focused growth.
    • Skilled in governance, risk management, and decision-making in dynamic environments.
    • A strong commitment to IKEA values, embodying our culture and leading by example.

    A day in your life with us

    As a Development & Transformation Programme Manager at Ingka Centres, you will play a key role in the strategic deployment of our initiatives.

    Your role will involve:
    • Leading and delivering organisation-wide transformation by managing complex programmes and coordinating multiple interdependent projects.
    • Planning, designing, and leading the overall strategic road map, proactively monitoring progress and resolving issues to ensure successful delivery.
    • Defining and maintaining programme governance for your initiatives, ensuring quality assurance and alignment across all projects and stakeholders.
    • Managing programme budgets, tracking costs, and ensuring alignment between investment and realized business benefits.
    • Ensuring delivery of programme outcomes on time, within scope and budget, and in line with defined quality standards.
    • Driving continuous improvement of the programme, ensuring alignment with evolving business needs and enabling clear communication with stakeholders.

    This is a permanent position, based in Malmö, Hubhult. You will report to the Development & Transformation Manager, Max Reumark.
