Responsible:

• Lead and oversee full spectrum of finance operations including GL, AP and Credit Control functions
• Review monthly financial closing, financial statements and variance analysis against budget and prior year
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and financial performance monitoring to support business decision-making
• Monitor cash flow position, funding requirements and ensure sufficient liquidity for operational and capital needs
• Oversee credit control operations including tenant aging, AR days, collection strategies and recovery actions
• Review tenant aging profile and recommend action plans, including escalation to Credit Control Committee (CCC)
• Liaise with legal advisors on recovery actions and manage risks relating to delinquent tenants
• Lead external audit, tax compliance and regulatory reporting processes including SST and corporate tax
• Drive operational improvements, system enhancements and process efficiencies across finance functions
• Support management in strategic planning, financial analysis and business performance evaluation.
• Develop and coach finance team members to enhance capabilities and performance

• Accountable for timely financial closing, reporting and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Accountable for effective cash flow management, funding position and financial sustainability of the business
• Accountable for credit control performance, including management of receivables risk and minimisation of bad debts
• Accountable for the effectiveness of internal controls, audit readiness and compliance with company policies

Knowledge:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline with professional qualification (ACCA/CPA/CA/MIA or equivalent)
• Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, and credit control, including 2–3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and accounting principles
• In-depth knowledge of budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis
• Knowledge of cash flow management, banking and funding structures
• Strong understanding of credit control, receivable risk and tenant management
• Familiarity with taxation, SST requirements and regulatory compliance
• Knowledge of audit processes and internal control frameworks
• Familiarity with accounting systems or ERP systems (e.g. Yardi or similar)
• Understanding of retail/mall operations and tenant-based business environment
