  • Who you are

    We are looking for a leader to lead, develop and inspire the Retail Solution team, to create demands for home furnishing and range presentation solutions and know-how while meeting new and future demands.
    Accountable for the layout, range presentation and communication thereby contributing to positioning the IKEA Brand as the leader in life at home

    • Broad knowledge of Interior, graphic and shop design and the trends that influence them in the market
    • Broad knowledge of trends that influence home furnishing, retail design and communication to create a commercial and visually strong product presentation
    • Broad knowledge about customers' living situations as well as their needs and frustrations in their everyday life at home
    • Broad knowledge of the methods for presenting the range and service range using store media, display techniques
    and store layout as commercial tools
    • Broad knowledge of IKEA concept, brand objectives, values and vision
    • Broad knowledge of IKEA tools, processes and cycles
    • Broad knowledge of IKEA business strategies, priorities and business planning process
    • Good knowledge of change management methods and tools as well as project and stakeholder management
    • Good knowledge of the IKEA multichannel reality and online customer behaviours
    • Broad knowledge of operational plans and goals as well as follow up on KPIs

    Your responsibilities

    • Lead and inspire the Retail Solution team to raise the IKEA home furnishing expertise to ensure
    that local solutions contribute to strengthening the IKEA Brand, increasing sales and improving the customer experience
    • Lead, inspire and challenge the Retail Solution team to take actions that exploit commercial opportunities both in the short and long term while securing relevant and inspiring range presentation, an optimal store layout and effective and efficient store communication that builds
    the IKEA Brand and distances IKEA retailers from the competition
    • Lead remodeling initiatives for existing stores SISAN, (Store In Shape As New), to make sure developments are in line with the IKEA identity and to optimize commercial opportunities
    • Act as a member of the HF&RD (Home Furnishing & Retail Design) team and proactively contribute to the HF&RD plan/output in order to deliver to the common objectives and goals while supporting global initiatives and business priorities
    • Actively cooperate with key stakeholders within commercial and beyond to secure integration,
    common focus and to maximise impact (for example Digital, Customer Fulfilment (CFF), Communications, Sustainability, Business Navigation Operations & Finance (BNOF), People & Culture)
    • Secure that the country Commercial team has the right understanding of the store layout, range presentation and store communication in order to contribute to the development of all customer meeting points
    • Contribute to the integrated multichannel executions/output of the function in order to contribute to the business goals
    • Contribute with measuring the performance of product presentation and design to maximise efficiency and effectiveness, and to ensure performance excellence throughout the year
    • Conduct Commercial Reviews
    • Be an active player in driving an open and sharing climate, be a role model of the IKEA values and contribute to developing the meeting with the customer at IKEA
