    Additional Information:
    • This role is ​permanent part-time, 50 hrs/fortnight​
    • The internal job title for this role is Sales Co-worker

    • This role requires availability to work Monday to Sunday, shifts between 7:00am – 9:30pm
    • As our store operates 7 days per week, you must be available to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts, including 3 out of 4 weekends each month (both Saturday and Sunday).

    About this work area

    As a Self-Serve Co-worker, you will support customers in the self-serve area of the store, helping them locate products, make confident purchasing decisions, and enjoy a smooth shopping experience. You will also help ensure the sales area is well organised, fully stocked, and ready for customers.

    Your responsibilities will include:
    • Engaging with customers to understand their needs and helping them find the right IKEA products and services.
    • Supporting customers with product knowledge to help them make informed purchasing decisions.
    • Actively participating in sales while contributing to department goals and business growth.
    • Maintaining a clean, organised, and well-presented sales area.
    • Ensuring products are correctly priced, stocked, and available for customers.
    • Working closely with your team and other departments to support a collaborative and positive store environment.

    • Feel confident approaching and speaking with customers and colleagues.

    This role involves regular physical activity. You must be comfortable lifting, carrying, and moving heavy, bulky flat-packed furniture.

    The role also requires repetitive manual handling tasks and extended periods of standing and walking while maintaining safe work practices at all times.
