Food Service Co-Worker

At IKEA Älmhult AB we greet our guests in many of our facilities, such as: MUMS at IKEA IoS, the IKEA Museum, the Lobby restaurant at IKEA Hotell, Köket, Grillen and Aktivitetshuset.  

We are now looking for you who is passionate in giving the best guest service experience during lunch and evening service. As a Food service co-worker you will play an important role in preparing the Café to give the best guest and service experience. 

Your tasks will include: 

• Serving guests  
• Preparing Sandwiches 
• Preparing and stocking the salad bar 
• Baking  
• Daily cleaning 
• Contributing to a good working environment 
• Developing the guest experience 
• Developing the range 
• Inventory  

We are looking for you who will want to co-create exciting service and service experiences with Småland in focus. You will love to work in a team where the goal is to offer the best service possible! You will like to work in a high-paced environment where you will meet new challenges every day!  You are open to quick changes and will have a high presence, both amongst your coworkers and our guests. 

Your personality is of great importance to us. Educational background within service and service preparation is an advantage. 

 Having previous experience in the restaurant trade is also a plus! To succeed in this role we expect you to use your initiative to get things done and be curious to find new or better ways of doing things. You will have the ability to solve problems that arise on a daily basis. 

We expect you to speak and write both Swedish and English fluently. It is also a plus if you master some additional language. You will also be comfortable working with computers. 

You must be over 18 years of age and hold a work and residence permit making you eligible for work in Sweden. And of course you share our passion for IKEA's history, culture and values! 

We now offer a part-time job (32h/v) 

The working hours will be scheduled both daytimes, some evenings, weekends and public holidays. Your working day could start from 05:30 and evening shifts could end at 23:30.
