    *This position is open to candidates who currently reside in Japan.

    【Required Qualifications】
    ・Knowledge of graphic communication design, media, and typography.
    ・Computer proficient with knowledge and experience of using graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite) and production tools, e.g. printers, pre-press production and print techniques.
    ・Business level in Japanese(N1 level).
    ・Basic communication skills in English.

    【Preferred Qualifications】
    ・A degree from a vocational school, junior college, or higher in graphic communication design, media, or typography, or relevant work experience in a similar role.

    ・Strong visual communication skills with a keen sense of aesthetics.

    【Job description】
    The Graphic Communicator at IKEA plays a key role in expressing the IKEA brand through visual communication, helping to create a smooth, inspiring, and engaging shopping experience for customers. Through graphic design, this role delivers ideas and values that reflect IKEA as a home furnishing company, offering customers inspiration throughout the store.
    Unlike typical design roles that focus solely on creating data or layout files, IKEA Graphic Communicators are involved in the entire process—from design to production and on-site implementation. This includes outputting materials, using printers for in‑house production, and installing graphic communication in the store. By taking full ownership from concept to execution, the role ensures highly effective and impactful visual communication across the store environment.

    【Working Hours】
    ・8:00-17:00(Shift work)
    (Primarily weekday shifts, with occasional weekend and public holiday shifts depending on business needs)

    【Employment Status】
    - Full-time regular employee- 40 hours per week contract
    - Probation period: 6 months
    - Start date is the first day of every month (consult with us about your start date)
    - Retirement age: 65 years old
