Inter IKEA Group connects IKEA franchisees with range development and suppliers and ensures alignment of the overall IKEA strategic direction. Every day, we strive to develop, produce, and sell products and services that are affordable and accessible to everyone.
The IKEA vision is to create a better everyday life for the many people – and we’re always searching for new and better ways to do it. We use our home furnishing knowledge to create products and solutions that will enable more people to live the life they want. Through creativity, IKEA Marketing & Communication (IMC) connects the heart of IKEA to the hearts and minds of the many people.
We are based in Älmhult, Sweden – the heart of IKEA. From here, we create, produce and deliver inspiring content that helps our retail markets grow and strengthens IKEA as a purpose-led brand and expert in life at home. We are proud of our craftsmanship and believe it should always go hand in hand with technology. As marketing and communication continue to evolve, we are simplifying the way we work, speeding up development and continuously improving how we create, produce and distribute high quality content at scale.
We are recruiting a Business Process Partner for the Capability Area, reporting to the Capability Area Manager.
Our team is based in Älmhult, Sweden. We believe that your presence with the team and working most of the time in the workplace is important.
Your next role
As a Business Process Partner in the newly formed Capability Area, you will help develop the capabilities IMC needs to create, produce and distribute content at scale across 64 markets. You will build on strong experience from content creation, production, distribution and cross-functional collaboration, and bring that knowledge into a broader development setting where business needs are translated into practical ways of working, methods, tools and solutions.
In the coming years, we will continue to evolve how IMC operates at scale. This means shaping future-ready capabilities across competence, ways of working, processes, data and digital tools. Your focus will be to identify development needs, turn them into clear and scalable solutions, and help create greater simplicity, consistency, quality and efficiency in how IKEA content is created, produced and distributed across our markets.
You will work closely with teams across IMC and the wider IKEA value chain to connect business priorities with capability development. A key part of the role is to move ideas, pilots and improvements into everyday use, enabling adoption and helping people succeed with new ways of working.
On a typical working day, you will:
- Lead or support development initiatives, projects, pilots and implementation of new capabilities, tools, methods or guidelines.
- Identify capability gaps, business needs, priorities and development opportunities together with key stakeholders.
- Translate business and operational needs into clear frameworks, processes, methods and ways of working.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to connect roadmap and development initiatives with solutions that balance people, process, data and technology.
- Secure alignment and adoption by involving stakeholders and teams across IMC and the wider IKEA value chain.
- Research and analyse global best practices, benchmarks and emerging developments relevant to content production and capability building.
- Follow up on ongoing initiatives, measure progress and adjust solutions to improve scalability, quality, efficiency and long-term usability.
What we’d like you to bring to the table
The role as a Business Process Partner requires experience and ability across content production, capability development, digital awareness, stakeholder collaboration and change adoption.
- Experience from content production, studio operations or similar creative production environments, including planning, execution or development.
- Understanding of emerging creative technologies such as AI, 3D, automation or digital content pipelines, and how they impact workflows, roles and future competence needs.
- Ability to identify capability gaps and translate business or operational needs into practical improvements in ways of working, processes, tools or methods.
- Experience leading or supporting development initiatives from idea or pilot to implementation, adoption and measurable improvement.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration, with the ability to align creative, production, technology and business perspectives around clear outcomes.
- Problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset, with evidence of improving workflows, scaling content production or increasing quality and efficiency.
- Clear communication skills, curiosity and a learning mindset, with the ability to make complex topics simple and actionable for different audiences.
It’s a plus if you also have:
- Deeper experience in change management or implementation support for new ways of working.
- Knowledge of data, insights or performance follow-up that can support continuous improvement and decision-making.
- Exposure to working in global or matrix organisations, with the ability to navigate multiple stakeholders and perspectives.
