  • IKEA Warrington, WA5 7TY are looking to welcome a Warehouse Operations Team Manager - nightshift. In IKEA we call this a Fulfilment Operations Team Leader.

    Step into the night‑shift as a Warehouse Operations Team Manager at IKEA, where you’ll lead our fulfilment teams to keep products moving and customers smiling. You’ll drive efficient nightly workflows, maximise stock availability, and secure full operational readiness — all while coaching and developing a diverse team, maintaining a safe and compliant workplace, and ensuring every shift delivers high‑quality, cost‑effective results.     WHAT WE OFFER

    • The Start Date of employment will be: 27th July 2026, can be discussed at interview.
    • Starting salary of £29,215 per annum, based on competence and experience, plus a nightshift hourly rate of £2.25ph between the hours of 10pm and 6am.
    • 39 hours working 5 nights per week including alternative weekends.
    • Working hours are between 10pm to 9am, working approx. 8 hours nightly.
    • We can discuss flexibility to match your life and our business needs during the interview.

    Final offers of employment are contingent upon clear results in mandatory medical questionnaire. This check must be completed by all successful candidates. This is due to working nightshift.

    WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

    • Experience of leadership in a fast-paced warehouse environment with the ability to prioritise and organise your own and others workload.
    • Business-minded approach with a clear customer focus and ability to meet agreed budgets and goals with the ability to make quick decisions and take personal initiatives, open to change and highly flexible.
    • Leading others, you will have good communication skills that can assist in building relationships with co-workers and customers.
    • Ability to implement structural ways of working within the area of responsibility, with problem-solving experience and strong computer literacy.


    WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

    • Lead daily fulfilment operations — secure efficient workflows, maximum stock availability, and full operational readiness at the lowest possible cost.
    • Coach and develop your team — inspire, support, and grow a diverse group of co‑workers, ensuring strong performance, well‑being, and future succession.
    • Maintain a safe and compliant workplace — ensure all areas are clean, organised, and fully aligned with IKEA health, safety, security, and Code of Conduct standards.
    • Drive business performance — plan people, shifts, and equipment; analyse workloads; and secure daily and seasonal volume handling while keeping costs low.
    • Build quality and damage‑prevention awareness — strengthen co‑workers’ understanding of quality routines to reduce damages and improve operational efficiency.
    • Support local business plans — contribute to the implementation of unit projects and initiatives that enhance fulfilment operations.
    • Communicate and collaborate effectively — build strong relationships with co‑workers and internal partners to achieve shared goals.
    • Use structured ways of working — apply problem‑solving skills and strong computer literacy to improve processes and secure consistent, high‑quality results.
