    A day in your life with us

    As a Country Digital Operations Specialist, you help secure stable, reliable and user-friendly digital operations across a large market. You support not only a store, but also the smaller business units connected to it, keeping digital foundation products running and helping new openings succeed from a project coordination point of view. This role requires frequent travel between sites to stay close to the business, understand local needs and provide hands-on support where it is needed. You act as a trusted point of contact between stores, connected units, service office teams, global functions and external partners. You will work within IKEA standards and frameworks, while being expected to take ownership and make practical decisions that support the business locally.
    • Own and follow up the lifecycle of digital foundation assets across the store and connected business units, ensuring that equipment, documentation and operational needs are kept under control;
    • Provide hands-on technical support, troubleshooting and coordination for digital products and services used by co-workers in the store and connected smaller business units, including Windows devices, basic network connectivity, mobile telephony and workplace technology;
    • Travel frequently between sites to support stores and connected business units, follow up local needs and stay close to operational reality;
    • Coordinate and support local implementations, rollouts, changes and new openings by aligning stakeholders, vendors and technical teams to deliver practical and standardised solutions;
    • Contribute to new store or unit opening projects from a digital operations perspective, helping to plan activities, track dependencies, follow up actions and ensure readiness before go-live;
    • Support the business through a rotational duty schedule, responding to operational needs, coordinating actions and helping minimise disruption to co-workers and customers;
    • Use modern digital tools, including AI-enabled solutions where relevant, to simplify communication, structure information and improve support for daily operations and project coordination;
    • Identify risks, recurring issues and improvement opportunities, then take initiative to prevent interruptions and improve the digital experience for co-workers and customers;
    • Plan and prioritise your work independently, adapting to business needs while keeping stakeholders informed and engaged.
