  • IKEA Oxford Street are looking to welcome a Product Quality and Recovery Co-Worker.

    Do you want to put your creativity and problem-solving talents to work in a role focused on building and restoring products? As you bring IKEA products to life, each task becomes a practical puzzle—transforming a box of components into a stylish, functional piece that will enhance our customers’ homes. You’ll also have opportunities to re‑purpose existing furniture, blending artistry with precision while ensuring every item meets our high standards.


    WHAT WE OFFER

    • The Start Date of employment will be 5th August 2026.
    • Competitive hourly rate of £14.80 per hour.
    • 30 Hours working 5 days per week including day shift, evenings and 3 out of 4 weekends per month.

    WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

    • A positive approach to waste management and sustainability, enjoy handling several tasks at once, and an interest in giving things a new life.
    • Have a customer first mindset, where you make the customer feel valued and supported in everything you do.
    • You are motivated to problem solve and use your own initiative daily. You are motivated to be part of the team but also can work without supervision.
    • Ability to prioritise and organise your own work to make efficient use of the time available with great attention to detail.
    • Passion for sustainability and cost-saving, contributing to a circular economy model by enhancing product longevity and reusability.


    WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

    • Re-purpose and present IKEA products with pride to create a welcoming customer experience and support positive business performance.
    • Work closely with the different functions in the unit to support range changes and to ensure that the product quality of displayed furniture is maintained, and use your initiative to intervene when necessary.
    • Support, execute and follow the product quality guidelines for recalled, returned and ex-display stock, to constantly improve customers’ perception of our IKEA products.
    • Ensure furniture is assembled correctly and secured in accordance with health, safety, and manual handling protocols to maintain a safe shopping and working environment for visitors and co-workers.
