    Your responsibilities

    • Lead the implementation of the commercial calendar and the store activity plan.
    • Ensure that commercial activities are implemented efficiently and with high quality across the store and online.
    • Contribute to planning and executing activities that increase traffic, customer engagement and sales.
    • Use your knowledge of the IKEA product range, services, national priorities, local market and competitors to support commercial planning.
    • Act quickly on commercial opportunities, including product availability, overstock, out-of-stock situations and customer feedback.
    • Analyse the performance of activities and use insights to improve future planning and execution.
    • Understand how your activities influence the store’s financial results and focus on the areas you can impact.
    • Create content for and maintain the local IKEA website.
    • Ensure that all communication reflects IKEA’s brand values, tone of voice and visual identity.
    • Collaborate with the commercial team and align with the Service Office Marketing team to ensure consistent communication across channels.
    • Contribute to IKEA’s social and environmental commitments through relevant and sustainable commercial activities.
    • Apply IKEA ways of working, including Selling the IKEA Way and Pricing the IKEA Way.

    • The Commercial Activity team is part of the Commercial function in the IKEA store and works closely with colleagues across the business to create an enjoyable, convenient and successful shopping experience.
    • Together, we use our knowledge of the IKEA product range, local customers, market conditions and store performance to create relevant activities that attract more visitors, encourage customers to return and contribute to long-term profitability.
    • We work collaboratively, with energy and a strong sense of urgency, to bring the IKEA offer to life in the store and online.
