    We believe you bring many of the following strengths:

    •Has solid experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, BI Developer or similar role 
    •Is highly skilled in SQL and Phython, and is comfortable working with large and complex datasets 
    •Has strong experience with data modelling, data transformation and creating reliable data structures for reporting and analysis 
    •Has practical experience with MS Fabric and Power BI, including building clear dashboards, semantic models, measures and automated reporting solutions 
    •Understands how to turn business needs into data requirements, analysis and user-friendly reporting solutions 
    •Can translate data into clear stories that help stakeholders understand performance, identify gaps and decide what to do next 
    •Works in a structured and proactive way, with the ability to prioritise and drive tasks forward independently 
    •Is curious about AI and motivated by exploring how AI can improve the way we work with data, analysis and decision-making 
    •Enjoys working closely with stakeholders and being part of a collaborative team where knowledge sharing, curiosity and continuous improvement are important

    A day in your life with us

    In this role, you will help IKEA Denmark turn data into trusted insights and decision support. You will work closely with the Insights & Analytics team and stakeholders across the Danish organisation to understand business needs, build strong data solutions and make performance easier to understand and act on. 

    Your work will include: 

    •Building and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions that support business performance follow-up 
    •Creating data models, measures and datasets that are reliable, scalable and easy to use 
    •Writing SQL queries to extract, transform and prepare data for analysis and reporting 
    •Conducting exploratory analysis to identify patterns, gaps, opportunities and business drivers 
    •Working closely with Insights Leaders to combine analytical findings with business and customer understanding 
    •Translating business questions into data requirements and clear analytical solutions 
    •Helping improve data quality, definitions and documentation together with the Data Governance & Activation Leader 
    •Using and exploring AI-supported ways of working to make analysis, reporting and insight generation more efficient 
    •Communicating findings in a simple and visual way that helps stakeholders understand what is happening, why it matters and what actions could be taken

    You will be part of the Insights & Analytics team in IKEA Denmark, a team with a clear purpose: to help IKEA Denmark make better and faster decisions by bringing together data, insights, business understanding and customer perspectives. 

    Today, we are five colleagues in the team: two Insights Leaders, one Data Analysts, one Data Governance & Activation Leader and the Insights & Analytics Manager. We work closely together across our different areas of expertise and partner with functions across the Danish organisation.

    Additional information

    •Working Hours & Contract: The position is 37+ hours per week on a salaried contract (funktionærkontrakt), where additional hours and overtime are included in the salary. 
    •Flexible Hours: Flexible working hours (typically 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM). 
    •Remote Work: Opportunity to work from home up to 2 days a week. 
    •Compensation: Salary according to qualifications and in line with IKEA’s salary policy.
