    What you'll be doing day to day

    As an Equipment Maintenance Mechanic, contributing to the efficient flow and maintenance of material handling equipment batteries for the Distribution / Customer Fulfillment Center, you will:

    Perform the maintenance of material handling equipment batteries.

    Adhere to the maintenance schedule and operating procedures for watering and washing batteries, cables, and connections.

    Perform audits related to the integrity and condition of batteries and battery related equipment.

    Maintain a clean and safe work area in all material handling equipment storage and maintenance locations within the fulfilment unit.

    Contribute to an environment where IKEA culture is strong and embraces the diversity of co-workers and customers.

    The pay range for this role is $19.57 - $27.83

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Previous material handling equipment experience preferred.

    Strong communication skills.

    Requirements

    Ability to lift, sit, stand, and walk for length of shift.

    Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
    The starting rate/ salary for this position ranges from 10 USD to 20 USD and will be based on relevant work experience.
