    • IKEA Southampton are looking to welcome Sales Assistants to join our delightful and friendly team.

    If you are looking for a role where you get to use your active selling skills to help co-create the wonderful everyday with our many in-store guests, we would be happy to hear from you. This role calls for someone who is motivated, customer-focused and comfortable providing friendly and helpful service to customers.

    We have contracts working across our Showroom and Market Hall.

    WHAT WE OFFER
    • Interviews to be held in-store between 17 and 22 June.
    • Induction will be on either 12 July or 26 July - we have two options available.
    • Hourly rate of £13.45 per hour.
    • Contracts between 16 and 24 hours per week. Availability to work 3 in 4 weekends, as well as shifts through the week finishing up until 21:00pm in the evening, is required.

    • You have a customer first mindset, where you make the customer feel valued and supported in everything you do.
    • You are professional, make clear decisions, and use your initiative daily.
    • You prioritise and organise your own work to make efficient use of the time available with great attention to detail.

    WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
    • You help customers enjoy a positive shopping experience by approaching them, learning what they need, and suggesting helpful options for their home.
    • You are always committed to the range, curious to learn the stories behind the products and their design.
    • You contribute to sales growth by maintaining a clean area, making sure every product is priced, and keeping displays attractive and simple to navigate.
