Overview Of The Role:
The Interior Designer is responsible for enhancing the visual presentation of the IKEA product range in the Furniture Showroom. This involves planning and implementing in-store projects and displays according to the IKEA Concept. A focus on providing inspirational and functional home furnishing solutions is crucial, along with ensuring all presentations meet the company standards. Additionally, the role supports the store commercial calendar and assists customers by delivering effective design solutions.

What You Will Do:

• Assist in planning in-house projects and in preparing drawings and perspectives according to the IKEA Concept.
• Implement and maintain all interiors and displays in the showroom.
• Conduct daily inspections of the showroom and ensure that damages are corrected immediately.
• Support the planning and implementation of the store commercial calendar.
• Maintain all areas in the store in accordance with IKEA standards.
• Follow IKEA manuals to produce functional home furnishing solutions within the store.
• Involve in projects relating to activities carried out in the store, such as rebuilding business areas based on feedback or poor performance.
• Assist Visual Merchandisers as required in store projects or activities.
• Show customers the extension of the range coordination, offering ideas and proposals for different rooms.
• Plan and decorate room sets to be inspirational for customers and offer home furnishing solutions.
• Assist customers with solutions for their homes.

Required Skills To Be Successful:

• Excellent Design & Creative skills
• Good knowledge in home furnishing, market trends, and fashion
• Strong drafting and space planning skills
• Customer Focused and capable of continuous improvement

What Qualifies You For The Role:

• Degree or Diploma in Interior Designing or Architecture.
• 3-5 years of experience in relevant area.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD and strong drafting skills.
• Proficiency in written and verbal English, with excellent design and creative skills.
