    Your responsibilities

    • Ensure the department is staffed with competent co-workers in the right place at the right time so customers receive active support throughout their shopping experience.
    • Maintain an excellent shopping environment by ensuring the shop is fully stocked, well-merchandised, and presented in a way that inspires and satisfies customers.
    • Ensure your team has strong knowledge of the product range and IKEA services so they can improve the customer experience and support sales effectively.
    • Use knowledge of IKEA sales channels, commercial priorities, customer feedback, product availability, and market conditions to identify opportunities and drive commercial performance.
    • Take ownership of department goals and implement action plans in line with business priorities to deliver sales growth and long-term profitability.
    • Monitor competition and work closely with relevant stakeholders to take appropriate commercial action when needed.
    • Lead, coach, and develop your team, including succession planning, while promoting IKEA’s values and commitment to sustainability.
