    Additional information:
    • This role is Permanent Part-time, 60hr/fortnight
    • The internal job title for this role is Unit Business Risk & Compliance Co-worker
    • You will work on a rotating roster between 8:00am - 9:30pm on weekdays, with alternating weekends each fortnight.
    • This role requires a Pre-employment Check, including a National Police Check for final candidates.
    • If successful, you will be required to obtain a Security Licence and First Aid & CPR certifications (if not already held)

    About this work area

    As Administration & Compliance Co-worker your responsibilities will include:
    • Acting as the friendly first point of contact for visitors, contractors, and co-workers, while managing access to and from the store.
    • Providing administrative support for risk prevention and compliance activities, including audits, incident reporting, database management, and filing.
    • Monitoring and reviewing CCTV, conducting investigations, responding to alarms, and initiating emergency response procedures where required.
    • Assisting in ensuring the store’s compliance with IKEA standards, local rules, guidelines, and legislative requirements to protect our people, assets, and brand.
    • Supporting the response and management of emergency situations and safety incidents.
    • Promoting a strong Risk & Compliance culture by leading by example and continuously identifying opportunities to reduce loss, prevent incidents, and keep co-workers and customers safe.
    • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure health, safety, and security standards are consistently met across all departments.



    As Administration & Compliance Co-worker you bring:
    • A current Security Licence and First Aid & CPR certifications, or the willingness and ability to obtain them.
    • A strong customer-focused mindset, always keeping our customers and co-workers in mind.
    • A genuine passion for creating a safe and secure working environment, leading by example.
    • Clear and confident verbal communication skills, with the ability to remain calm and provide direction during emergencies.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, adapt to changing priorities, and stay organised.
    • Experience using computer systems and IT tools, with strong administrative, incident reporting, and compliance skills.
    • A proactive, solution-focused approach, always looking for better ways to improve and strengthen safety culture.
    • A team-oriented attitude, enjoying collaboration and supporting colleagues when it matters most.
