    To succeed in this role, you bring:
    • Minimum 10 years of experience in Sales, Customer Experience, Retail Operations, Commercial Planning, or related fields
    • Strong experience in strategic business planning and multichannel retail
    • Proven leadership experience in leading and developing teams
    • Strong understanding of customer behaviour, commercial activation, and sales optimization
    • Experience working with digital sales channels and improving online conversion
    • Ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate across multiple business functions
    • Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills
    • Passion for IKEA values, culture, and creating a better everyday life for the many people
    Preferred:
    • Experience working within the IKEA brand or similar large-scale retail organizations

    Your responsibilities

    As a Sales Manager, you will support markets in driving extraordinary growth by improving sales performance, customer experience, pricing, and commercial optimization across all channels.
    You will:
    • Support markets in driving sales growth across online and offline customer touchpoints
    • Translate business strategies into actionable selling activities and customer experience improvements
    • Lead commercial planning and sales steering activities aligned with overall business goals
    • Identify opportunities to improve the customer buying journey using customer insights, market trends, and competitor analysis
    • Develop and manage the commercial activity calendar to support sales targets
    • Drive optimization initiatives to improve online conversion and customer engagement throughout the sales funnel
    • Support markets with tools, guidance, and best practices related to sales optimization, pricing, customer finance, and customer care
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align commercial priorities with supply chain capabilities
    • Act as a Business Expert within agile digital teams by providing market insights and customer feedback for digital product development
    • Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales and pricing specialists and leaders
    • Build a collaborative, inclusive, and empowering team culture aligned with IKEA values
