    Job description

    PURPOSE OF THE FUNCTION

    Execute patrols and static post duties to maintain security, prevent crime, and identify suspicious activities or individuals.

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Responsible

    • Carrying out the safety and security responsibilities as directed.
    • Reporting emergencies to the superior promptly & taking the necessary actions during any emergencies, incidences, criminal activities, pickets, riots, sabotages, civil threats etc.
    • Patrolling the designated routes/ locations or such other routes determined from time to time.
    • Directing smooth flow of traffic during peak hours and emergencies as well as dealing with errant motorist and illegal parking when necessary.
    • Immediately reporting to the superior of any mechanical & electrical faults or damage as well as leaking water pipes, gas leaks, lift malfunctions (where applicable), fire, etc.
    • Monitor construction and nearby maintenance/upgrade works (e.g., working hours, nature of work, noise levels) and report to the superior only when discrepancies are identified.
    • To ensure the outsource security guard on duty.
    • Assist in enforcing all safety and fire regulations within the mall, including SecCheck inspections and audits.

    Accountable

    • Accountable for ensuring a safe, secure, and orderly environment within the mall premises.
    • Act as a first point of contact or assist in coordinating responses during security incidents.
    • Immediately reporting to relevant parties to any mechanical & electrical faults or damage as well as leaking water pipes, gas leaks, lift malfunctions (where applicable), fire, etc.

    • Contribute to a safe and secure shopping environment for customers and tenants.
    • Enhance customer confidence by ensuring a visible and effective security presence

    Qualification
    • Minimum SPM (add Pass 5 subject including BM & Sejarah)
    • Malaysian citizen aged within 20 years old to 35 years’ old
    • Do not have any Criminal Record & Drug Influence and have a good health condition and eyesight
    • At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field

    • Knowledge in Auxiliary Police Rules and Regulation (e.g., Royal Malaysia Police procedures, criminal law, trespass, and public order laws).
    • Experience in crowd control handling
    • Basic proficiency in managing and handling suspects
    • Basic proficiency in providing first aid and emergency care
    • Basic capability of responding to and documenting accidents and incidents Energetic and fit to manage stress, etc.
    • Knowledge of accident and incident handling procedures.
