  • Who you are

Are you good at creating an overview, keeping operations running smoothly, and motivating the people around you? Do you thrive in a hands-on environment where you actively participate in day-to-day tasks on the warehouse floor while also providing valuable support to team leaders? If so, you could be the colleague we are looking for to join our fulfilment team.

We are looking for a dedicated and responsible Fulfilment Operations Coordinator to join our evening shift. Your main responsibility will be to ensure efficient operations through coordination, prioritisation, and support for the team. You will act as the link between co-workers and team leaders, taking responsibility for daily operations when team leaders are not present.

You will be a visible role model on the warehouse floor, thrive on taking initiative, and be motivated by creating structure and maintaining momentum in a busy operational environment.

    We imagine that you:

•Have experience in warehousing, logistics, or fulfilment.
•Are good at maintaining an overview and staying calm in a busy working environment.
•Enjoy coordinating and supporting colleagues with daily operations during the evening shift.
•Work in a structured, efficient, and solution-oriented manner.
•Are responsible and naturally take ownership of tasks and processes.
•Have experience in team coordination or leadership, which is an advantage but not a requirement.

A day in your life with us

As a Fulfilment Operations Coordinator, you will play an important role in the evening shift and actively contribute to daily operations. Your responsibilities will include:

•Coordinating and supporting daily operations during the evening shift.
•Ensuring a smooth flow throughout picking and fulfilment processes.
•Actively participating in picking and other operational tasks as needed.
•Prioritising tasks and maintaining an overview to ensure resources are used efficiently.
•Acting as a support person and sounding board for team leaders.
•Taking responsibility for daily operations when team leaders are not present.
•Contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and ways of working.
•Ensuring a safe, organised, and efficient working environment.

    Together as a Team

This is an exciting role with significant influence on daily operations and opportunities to develop your coordination and leadership skills. You will become part of a strong team where collaboration, responsibility, and results are at the heart of everything we do.

If you have ever wondered who is responsible for finding efficient ways to pick and deliver products to our customers, that's us! We are passionate about working together to improve the customer experience at IKEA.

You will be part of our fantastic logistics team, where we strive every day to create a positive working environment that supports the development of our many co-workers. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with co-workers and managers from the Sales department, where strong teamwork is essential to achieving our goals.
