People & Culture Manager, IKEA Delft Market, full-time

Your role at a glance 
As People & Culture Manager, you will be a member of the IKEA Delft Management Team. You will act as a strategic business partner while driving an inclusive, engaging, and development-focused work environment. 

You will help our co-workers and leaders grow, strengthen our unique IKEA culture, and ensure that people and business objectives go hand in hand. In doing so, you will contribute every day to a workplace where people feel welcome, can be themselves, and are empowered to perform at their best. 

What you will do 

• Lead and drive the People & Culture agenda for IKEA Delft, ensuring alignment with business priorities and the successful execution. 

• Develop our business through people and creating the environment where everyone is empowered to develop and grow our business.  

• Ensure the right people and competences are in place today and for the future through workforce planning, recruitment, competence development, succession planning and staff cost management. 

• Partner with the IKEA Delft Management Team on talent development, succession planning, and organizational development 

• Lead, coach and develop the People & Culture team, ensuring strong functional expertise, continuous development and high-quality delivery. 

• Create and maintain constructive relationships with co-workers, Works Council, unions and relevant external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with labour legislation, labour relations principles and IKEA policies while safeguarding the interests of IKEA Delft. 

• Foster a healthy, safe, and inclusive work environment where well-being, engagement, and sustainable employability are central. 

• Monitoring key people metrics and driving continuous improvement in people and business performance. 

• Support leaders through change, growth, and the development of high-performing teams 

Who you are 
You are an experienced People & Culture leader who is passionate about developing people and organizations. You understand the dynamics of a fast-paced retail environment and know how to translate strategy into concrete actions with visible impact. You have a mindset to deliver to the common business goals and people metrics. 

In addition, you recognize yourself in the following: 

• A strong business partner who naturally connects people and business results. 

• Extensive experience in leadership, talent development, and change management 

• Experience in stakeholder management, employee relations, and collaboration with Works Councils and unions 

• Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to inspire and engage others through change. 

• Resilient, decisive, and comfortable in an environment that is constantly evolving. 

• Fluent in both Dutch and English
