    The Growth & Marketing function is at the heart of IKEA's mission to deliver business results and reach our country and commercial objectives. We identify business opportunities and target segments across all channels to grow market share, create and execute marketing strategies based on true consumer insights to attract new customers, build a strong brand, retain current customers, and constantly grow loyalty.

    As the Social Media Content Specialist, you'll be at the heart of our social media presence, orchestrating content strategies across all social media channels to ensure consistency, performance, and impact. You are a digitally savvy content curator and community builder who:
    • Develops and implements the Owned Social Media strategy across relevant platforms, optimising approach and content based on performance
    • Orchestrates social moments, working in close collaboration Integrated Media Leaders and agency partners to deliver campaigns that tap into culture, trends, and real-time conversations
    • Drives User Generated Content impact by curating and amplifying authentic user content to boost relevance, trust, and community reach
    • Leads creator collaborations through identifying, briefing, and managing co-creators and influencers to fuel engagement and brand storytelling
    • Strengthens brand love through active engagement, dialogue, and responsive social care with Community managers (in-house or outsourced)
    • Measures and optimises content performance through tracking content and creator impact, turning insights into actionable improvements



    You are a passionate, creative individual with a deep understanding of social media dynamics across owned and paid content and a genuine enthusiasm for connecting with people through digital storytelling.     To be considered for this role, you will need to have:
    • Minimum 5 years of related experience in social media, within an agency or brand marketing team. You have a proven track record of creating, managing, and optimising social media strategies and content across multiple platforms, with demonstrated success in building engaged communities and driving measurable results.
    • An understanding of how to curate, amplify, and leverage authentic user-generated content to build trust, relevance, and community engagement.
    • Experience identifying, briefing, and managing relationships with co-creators and influencers to enhance brand storytelling and drive engagement.
    • An ability to deliver culturally relevant social campaigns in collaboration with cross-functional teams, tapping into trends and real-time conversations with agility.
    • Skill with strengthening brand love through active engagement, dialogue, and responsive social care, whether managing directly or coordinating with community managers.
    • An eye for detail and a strong sense of analysing data to be able to track content and creator impact, understand insights, and translate them into actions for continuous improvement.

    Additional information:
    • Permanent, full time, 76hrs/fortnight.
    • If you are successful for this role, you will be required to obtain a national police check.
