    You possess a strong academic background, with a university degree and at least 5 years of related experience, or a minimum of 7 years of broad experience in the financial field.

    You bring valuable leadership wisdom, with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on managerial experience, shaping and developing teams.

    You are a natural at "Leading People," with a talent for fostering growth and collaboration within your team and across our Global Business Operations (GBO).

    You have a basic accounting concept skill set, AR and O2C background would be an asset.

    A day in your life with us

    As an Accounting Team Leader, you'll be at the heart of our financial operations, guiding your team and ensuring our processes run smoothly and effectively. You will:

    Lead your team to deliver excellent professional financial services with utmost efficiency and quality, always with a strong business partner focus.

    Manage team responsibilities according to agreed service levels, client expectations, and established procedures and rules.

    Actively maintain and develop accounting competence within your team through targeted on-the-job coaching and training, nurturing future talent.

    Contribute to the growth of our team by recruiting new co-workers, ensuring we have the right people to make a difference.

    Take charge of investigating and resolving internal issues, ensuring smooth operations and continuous improvement.

    Oversee the production of defined monthly reports and statistics for the organization, providing valuable insights.

    Support continuous improvement of processes and working routines, actively striving to constantly reduce the average time spent on transactional tasks.

    Execute effective staff planning for your team, setting clear roles, responsibilities, and daily priorities for each co-worker.

    Challenge and motivate your team members, leading by example and fostering a positive, high-performing work environment.

    Together as a team

    As part of the Sales Reconciliation team within Global Business Operations (GBO), you will join a highly specialized group of co-workers responsible for ensuring accurate sales reporting across multiple markets. Our team plays a key role in reconciling complex sales flows, including returns and cross channel transactions, supporting both physical stores and e commerce operations.
    We work closely with finance teams in IKEA countries, acting as trusted partners who provide transparency, insights and strong control over reported sales figures. Our team is at the heart of a major global transformation, by standardizing finance ways of working, increasing automation and accuracy and at the same time significantly reducing manual effort for local markets.
    Collaboration is a key in the way we work. We share openly knowledge with each other, support one another in solving complex topics and continuously improve our processes together. As a globally connected team, we appreciate clear communication, accountability and a strong sense of ownership, while always keeping IKEA values and our customers at the centre of what we do.
