This is a hands‑on, active role for someone who enjoys working with their hands, solving problems, and making a real difference for the planet. As a Product Quality & Recovery Co‑worker, you’ll give products a second life, support quality standards, and help customers find great value through our As‑is offer.
You’ll be on your feet, working with products, tools, systems, customers, and your team every day - no two days are the same.

As Product Quality & Recovery Co‑worker your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
    • Recover, assess and prepare returned or damaged products so they can be reused, repackaged or resold.
    • Build and rebuild furniture safely and correctly using instructions and tools.
    • Present products in the As‑is shopfloor with pride, setting attractive prices that deliver value for customers and strong results for the store.
    • Engage confidently with customers, listening to their needs and sharing your product knowledge to support their purchase decisions.
    • Make practical decisions about how products can be reused, repaired or recycled - always keeping quality, safety and sustainability in mind.
    • Work closely with other teams to support product quality, recovery and compliance processes.
    • Maintain a safe, organised work environment and follow safe manual handling practices at all times.

As Product Quality & Recovery Co-worker you are someone who:
    • Enjoys physical work and is comfortable with manual handling, lifting and being on your feet.
    • Likes solving problems and can think practically and creatively when things aren’t straightforward.
    • Has confidence to make decisions and communicate clearly with customers and co‑workers.
    • Cares about sustainability, circularity and reducing waste.
    • Is motivated, reliable and takes pride in doing a job well.
    • Can work well in a team but is also comfortable working independently.
    • Is comfortable using basic computer systems and learning new tools.
    • Always puts safety first - for yourself, your team and our customers.
