    You should have knowledge about the current market environment, expectations from business customers today and tomorrow to secure the commercial & service offers meet customer demands & needs and knowledge of the global and local market, its movement and potential, to provide insights to better decision making at IKEA, you should also have the knowledge of how to identify and realise opportunities for add-ons, cross-selling and up-selling of IKEA products and services to fulfil customer needs. Knowledge of IKEAs corporate identity, core values and vision of creating a better everyday life for the many people, to ensure right representation is required.
    You should be passionate about the behaviours of the many people and the trends that influences them and be motivated to drive business growth by creating an affordable & attractive commercial offer for business customer in the markets and appreciate the mix of strategic thinking and turning commercial activities into practice and be motivated to work agile and being open to the change. Also, to share and live the IKEA culture and values.
    You should have the ability to direct efforts to achieve long-term business objectives and champions new methods, digital systems and processes to exceed previous performance. You should also demonstrate strong IKEA leadership skills, by using sound judgements to make timely and effective decisions, provides support, coaching, training, and career direction to others. Also you should have the ability to understand the complexity of IKEA business and the role of the business offering as an integrated part of the business and communicate verbally, visually and in writing in an inspirational way with IKEA tone of voice and a strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trustful relationships.

    Your responsibilities

    Job specific key tasks and responsibilities are as below:
    • Lead the IKEA Business offering and be responsible for the overall performance of the business portfolio
    • Lead the strategic approach to become a truly accessible, relevant and affordable choice for the business customers in a strong collaboration with the markets
    • Lead the development of IKEA business principles and direction for the IKEA group
    • Proactively contribute in IKEA BPL discussions to ensure that business offering insights underpin the future direction of Market Support
    • Utilise the insights in the markets to create clarity on the specific needs of the business customers (current and potential future customers) in the various business segments and across all markets
    • Work together with the Selling Manager to develop a clear and specific perspective on the future of the IKEA business offer
    • Create an IKEA business roadmap in collaboration with other stakeholder within Selling & Customer Experience, the markets and IIS
    • Lead the development of the required business offer processes, ways of working, tools, measurements and follow up to ensure that all relevant pre-conditions for success are in place
    • Act as Business Expert in relevant agile teams within the Digital Unit in order to provide business expertise in digital product and solution development (for sales, marketing and CX related topics). The Business Expert provides expert input on market needs, feedback from markets and customers, alignment with commercial & BPL priorities and guidance on how to prioritize features for development
    • Support markets in securing clients for B2B offerings, by providing them with negotiation materials and best practices. Develop solutions enabling B2B conversion
    • Develop and share best practices and learning content for business offer competence development in the markets together with Market Support Learning Developers
    • Lead, coach and develop a B2B specialist
