IKEA Manchester are looking to welcome a Warehouse Assistant to join our hard-working fulfilment team.

WHAT WE OFFER
• Start Date of employment will be: 15th of January
• Competitive hourly rate of £12.60 per hour.
• Part Time: 20 hours per week working 5 days per week, including late evenings and 3 out of 4 weekends.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
• Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential, all you will need is the motivation to make things happen in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to prioritise and organise your workload swiftly and with attention to detail.
• Ensure you are prepared to initiate tasks on your own initiative and to participate actively in group efforts.
• You are passionate about delivering an exceptional customer experience, whether you are working face to face to with customers in the Self Serve Warehouse or behind the scenes in the Full Serve Warehouse.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
• Effectively perform the role in the assigned area of responsibility, which includes, manual handling of heavy stock, receiving and replenishing goods with accuracy, picking, packing and handing out collection orders to customers and keeping accurate records of stock levels.
• Working with or around heavy machinery, such as, Forklift trucks, counterbalance, pump trucks, to safely and efficiently transport heavy goods within the warehouse.
• Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed for a secure environment for both our customers and co-workers.
