A day in your life with us

In this role, you will help shape and execute our category and market action plans. You’ll ensure efficient and compliant procurement processes, foster strong partnerships, and identify new opportunities.

Your Responsibilities:
- Oversee the Group Procurement sourcing process end-to-end.
- Build long-term, trustful partnerships with key suppliers and business partners.
- Ensure compliance with the Ingka Code of Conduct and IKEA way of doing business.
- Challenge suppliers to improve performance.
- Monitor sourcing options, supplier markets, and trends.
- Communicate inclusively and listen actively.
- Collaborate with team members to find synergies and achieve goals.
- Adapt to new circumstances and contribute to change.
- Analyze business needs, reduce costs, and develop standards.
- Monitor industry developments and explore new business opportunities.

We are Ingka Procurement, part of Ingka Group. We bring IKEA into the lives of the many people in more than 30 countries around the world. We are looking for someone who is eager to improve and develop our construction project investments. Your strong communication skills will help turn complex procurement solutions into new opportunities for Ingka.

To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A university degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in construction procurement and excellent market knowledge.
- Strong business acumen and project management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of construction industry-specific conditions and macro-economic trends.
- A fact-based approach with experience in supplier management and development.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in data analytical tools, including SAP procurement.
- Fluency in English and Dutch, both written and verbal.

You excel at building and maintaining relationships and have a strong business mindset and drive. You thrive on change and new ways of working, always looking for new possibilities and better solutions. Experience in construction procurement projects and managing business at a country or regional level with multiple partners is essential.

What else do you need

'- The salary indication of this role gross a year including holiday and 13th month is between €63.929,- and €82.710,- depending on experience.   
- A 13th month and 8% holiday pay. These will be paid out in December and May as standard, but you can also choose to receive them monthly.
- A collective bonus scheme. This is determined annually and amounts to a maximum of 150% of your gross monthly salary.
- Travel expenses for public transport are reimbursed 100%. Do you live within a radius of 5 to 20 km from the IKEA store? Then you can also opt for a lease bicycle. Are you traveling by car? Then you will receive a travel allowance up to a maximum of 243 euros per month.
- 15% employee discount at all IKEA stores in the Netherlands.
- Various arrangements that suit your personal situation. Think of transition leave and equal (100% paid) birth leave regardless of the composition of your family. You may also exchange the public holidays applicable in the Netherlands with non-Christian holidays.
