This is how IKEA store Home Delivery creates a positive shopping experience every time, and builds trust, by insuring that we deliver on minimum lead times, tasks and responsibilities are fully integrated, communicated and working closely with our colleagues in sales, logistics department. Securing that together we focus on the same commercial priorities to achieve a great service levels at lowest possible cost.

Contribute to fulfilling the four tasks of the IKEA store:

• To act as a highly efficient, and staffed sales mechanism
• To show home furnishing solutions full of inspiring home furnishing ideas
• To serve as a well-qualified home furnishing specialist
• To provide a day out for the whole family

Key Assignments

• Responsible for all assembly work of all IKEA products at the customer site according the IKEA standards
• Report any damages or discrepancies that may appear at the delivery and/or assembly process
• Report any product malfunction
• Be always available and ready to help and support co-workers in other Store areas if needed
• Assist in the delivery of all goods/items to customers as per the schedule
•  Regular (Daily/Weekly/Monthly) maintenance check-ups of the trucks
•  Keep the assigned vehicle (truck) clean inside and outside
• Follow all Traffic and Road Safety procedures when driving IKEA delivery Trucks
•  Assist in loading and unloading trucks manually
•  Use Navision module and other system to complete the required tasks
•  Educate the customer on how to shop the IKEA way
•  Maintain an awareness of all promotions and advertisements
•  Make sure that the ‘IKEA Basics’ are maintained (SISAN) at all times

• A minimum of High school degree
• Preferably 1 years of relevant experience in furniture assembly and or carpentr
• Flexible and willing to work on Shifts
• Basic understanding of English language
• Customer Oriented
