IKEA Industry Älmhult AB contributes with more than 200 dedicated and fantastic Co-workers who annually manufacture about 5.2 million lacquered fronts for furniture’s, mainly kitchens. We are searching a Supplier Quality Engineer at IKEA Industry Älmhult AB

Your role
As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you ensure quality  on incoming materials together with the organization.  You will be part of our quality team and report to the quality manager.

You will have the opportunity to work with quality development with many internal and external contacts in a large global organization. With IKEA you can open up a fantastic career and development opportunities. 

Main tasks will be to:

• Lead, coordinate and develop the work regarding standards and procedures in the event of deviations and lack of quality of purchased materials
• Implement and communicate IKEA requirements for material specifications at supplier

• Regularly audit key suppliers to ensure quality

• Manage complaints against suppliers and follow-up of suppliers' quality deficiencies

• Collaborate with ICOMP Procurement to develop supplier action plan, supplier quality strategy, and support the supplier classification process.

• Create internal structures for supplier quality assurance (SQA).

• Contribute to a strong quality mindset among our partners, suppliers and Co-workers

Who are you and what qualifications is needed?

We are looking for a personwith experiences from Material Deviation handling and quality improvement in manufacturing businesses. You also have proven skills in quality tools and processes ensuring quality. You have a higher education in the area of Engineering.

As a person you  have an accuracy for details, great analysis ability and you work in a structured way. You take initiative and dare to act immediately. You have a high ability to lead, coordinate, act and follow up. Quality is always in your mind!
