Inter IKEA Group is organised in three core businesses - Range, Supply and Retail Concept - and five enabling functions. Together we contribute to the success of IKEA and share responsibility for the franchise offer. The Enabling functions are Operations Management, Business Performance & Support, Communication, Sustainability and People & Culture.
This job is part of Operations Management, supporting across all Inter IKEA companies.
About the job
In Operations Management we are responsible for the overall digital product management direction and standards to enable digital product teams across Inter IKEA. The Product Operations Manager is a new role that will strengthen our ability to drive implementation and continuous improvement of our common operating model, with clear priorities and follow-up, optimizing value delivery and efficiency in cross-functional team work.
You will be responsible to lead and develop a team of specialists on the product model and agile ways of working. Together you will engage with product and platforms teams across the organization to improve team efficiency, cross-team collaboration, as well as enabling data informed and outcome driven work.
This is a great opportunity to drive adoption of a modern product management approach, but also to continuously learn from our experienced teams, and share best practice across IKEA.
About you
You are passionate about agile as well as implementing good practices and methods, with a mindset of continuous improvement and learning. You also find motivation in leading and develop your team, as well as the many product and platform teams across the organization
To be successful in this role, the following knowledge, skills and experiences would be valuable:
- Demonstrable experience in digital product development, agile development practices and ways of working.
- Several years of leadership experience and coaching others, including experience from leading effective and empowered teams focusing on impactful outcomes.
- Ability to, in an excellent way, communicate, facilitate, listen actively, build networks, and inspire others.
- Experience from business transformation and/or change management.
- Previous knowledge in IKEA Operating Model and its frameworks would be beneficial.
More Information
This role is full-time (40 hours per week) and based in Malmö, Sweden or Delft, Netherlands. We believe a hybrid solution between the office and working remotely will create the best environment for us to be creative, productive, and finding a work-life balance. It sits in Operations Management and reports to Product Management Manager.
