In addition, you bring:
- At least 5 years of leadership experience within Facility Management, Maintenance or Building Management.
- Experience with contract management, suppliers and maintenance processes.
- Good knowledge of building management and relevant legislation and regulations.
- Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
- You are decisive, solution-oriented and know how to bring others along through change.
- You thrive in a dynamic environment where no day is the same.
- You are fluent in spoken and written English. Speaking Dutch is a strong preference.
What your daily work will be
As a Facility Manager, together with your team, you ensure that IKEA Delft provides a safe, clean, sustainable and well-functioning environment for customers, visitors and co-workers.
You work closely with colleagues, suppliers and external partners and take the lead in further developing our store. You are proactive, recognize opportunities for improvement and turn them into concrete actions.
Your responsibilities include:
- Leading Facility Management services and managing external service providers.
- Working together with the store to plan, develop and implement programmes that continuously develop the store and keep the building looking as new (SISAN).
- Ensuring safety, compliance and adherence to legislation and regulations, while working closely with stakeholders in Fire Safety and Safety & Security.
- Maintaining relationships with government authorities and other external partners.
- Managing the Facility Management budget and promoting cost-conscious and sustainable solutions.
- Collaborating with IT and other departments to support daily operations in the best possible way.
- Leading, coaching and developing your team while fostering an open feedback culture.

About this role
As a Facility Manager, you will be part of the Business Navigation & Operations Management team and report to the Business Navigation & Operations Manager.
You will work together with colleagues, suppliers and external partners to ensure that IKEA Delft remains a safe, sustainable and inspiring place for both customers and co-workers. It is also important that you have a flexible availability, as you will work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.

- A one-year contract with the intention of offering a permanent contract based on good performance.
