When IKEA opens its doors at 10 AM, it's crucial that the shelves are well-stocked and prepared for our valued customers. This means that logistics here is not only about replenishing goods, but also about providing exceptional customer service and boosting sales.

To excel in this role, you should:

    • Be in good physical condition and thrive by using your body actively
    • Possess a keen eye for detail and enjoy working in an organized and structured manner
    • Be able to communicate in English and eager to collaborate effectively with the team.
    • Have a strong team spirit and enjoy working together towards common goals. We succeed as a team by helping each other across tasks and departments.

What you'll be doing day to day

Replenishment is a key part of the role and plays an important part in ensuring a great experience for IKEA customers. Before the store opens at 10 AM, we work with a clear deadline to make sure products are available and the store is ready for customers. As part of our One Fulfilment team, you will also support other logistics tasks throughout your shift, working closely with colleagues across the function.

    Your tasks will include:
    • Replenishing our home furnishing accessories such as plates, pillows, lamps and plants on the sales floor using pallet lifters and manual handling.
    • Picking customer orders and supporting fulfilment operations after store opening.
    • Working together with colleagues across the One Fulfilment function to ensure an efficient flow of goods and excellent customer experiences.
    • Handling item counts and updating IT systems accordingly.
    • Maintaining equipment and keeping the department safe, clean and organized.

    Our team within IKEA

Here you will become part of an international team of both full-time and part-time employees working towards a common goal. We are part of One Fulfilment, where collaboration and flexibility are key. While replenishment is the primary focus of the role, we support each other across different logistics tasks whenever needed.

We work in a fast-paced environment and place great importance on team spirit. Success depends on colleagues helping each other, sharing responsibility, and working together to achieve our goals. Therefore, you will join a supportive team where cooperation, respect and community are an important part of everyday life.
