We offer positions that will challenge your skills and let you grow. Come and see things a little differently with us.
The Senior Investment Analyst we are recruiting for will work with the Equity Portfolio Manager within the Financial Markets Investments team. Their analysis will be key in making investment decisions resulting in a portfolio offering an attractive risk/reward ratio, thereby contributing to the medium and long-term financial strategy and providing liquidity for the Ingka group and its expansion.

To be successful in this role, you have the following:
•Degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related discipline.
    •CFA or a CFA candidate.
•5 years plus experience in an equities role within financial markets.
    •Passion for financial markets.

You have also gained experience and knowledge in the following areas:
•Initiating, performing and leading an independent in-depth analysis on a portfolio and on an individual investment opportunity.
•Trading equities, financial instruments and derivatives.

•Micro-economics, and in-depth analysis of corporate financial statements.
•Macro-economic analysis, using both quantitative and qualitative methods.
•Developing quantitative tools, valuation models and analysis to drive investment proposals and decision making.

You demonstrate good judgment, high level of integrity, trustworthiness, and maturity. You can prioritise and take sound and common-sense decisions. You get energised by contributing to overall success and results through collaboration and get inspired by working together in a multicultural and multinational environment.
You are fluent in English (both spoken and written) and, of course, you share and live the IKEA culture and values.

    Your responsibilities

Within this organisation you will be a Senior Investment Analyst with a primary focus on Equities.
More specifically this means you will:
•Lead, initiate and perform an in-depth bottom-up and top-down analysis to drive investment decisions on the equity portfolio.
•Use your knowledge of equity markets to execute equity trades including FX hedging.
•Contribute to the equity portfolio strategy and identify investment opportunities.
    •Independently prepare investment proposals.
•Provide ad-hoc analysis on sectors and themes in the equity market.
•Contribute to developing our ESG focus including the proxy voting process.
•Act to secure that all investments comply with the Ingka Group Rules.

    Our team within IKEA

Ingka Investments is one of the 3 pillars of the Ingka Group, acting as a strategic partner to Ingka Retail (IKEA stores) and Ingka Centres, by securing financial strength for future growth and by making investments that contribute to making Ingka Group the world’s leading multichannel home furnishing retailer and to achieving its People & Planet Positive strategy. Ingka Investments’ mission is to lead with purposeful investments, enabling Ingka Group’s long-term growth and financial strength. We want to position Ingka Group as a unique, responsible, and trusted investor.
The Financial Markets Investment (FMI) portfolio is one of the six portfolios within Ingka Investments. Besides the objective to provide funds available for the Ingka group at any point in time, the FMI portfolio is to deliver an attractive risk adjusted return over the medium and long-term investment horizon while ensuring a high standard of ESG on all investments.
