    Additional information:
    • This role is Permanent Part-time, 60hrs/fortnight
    • The internal job title for this role is Unit Business Risk & Compliance Co-worker

    • This role requires availability to work a range of hours from 8:00am to 8:00pm weekdays and alternating weekends (both Saturday and Sunday).
    • As part of the recruitment process this role requires a Pre-employment Check, including a National Police Check for final candidates.

    As Safety and Security Admin Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
    • Identify and respond appropriately to emergencies and safety situations.
    • Monitor CCTV, investigate incidents, respond to alarms, and support emergency procedures using strong interpersonal and problem solving skills.
    • Provide administrative support for risk and compliance tasks, including audits, incident reporting, database management, and filing, with high quality written and verbal communication.
    • Act as a friendly first point of contact for visitors, contractors, and co workers while managing access to and from the store.
    • Help ensure store compliance with IKEA requirements, local regulations, and legislative standards to protect people, assets, and the brand.
    • Promote a strong Risk & Compliance culture by modelling safe behaviors and seeking ways to reduce loss and prevent incidents.
    • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to maintain health, safety, and security standards across all departments.



    As Safety and Security Admin Co-worker you are:
    • Able to work effectively in a fast paced, high-pressure environment while managing multiple tasks, adapting to changing priorities, and staying organised.
    • Experienced in delivering excellent customer service in a busy reception setting, with a strong customer focus that guides your daily work.
    • Confident using MS Office and a range of IT systems, with strong data management skills and experience in administrative and reporting tasks.
    • A passion for creating a safe & secure working environment and a commitment to leading by example.
    • Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to stay calm and deliver clear instructions during emergencies.
    • A proactive, solution-focused mindset – you look for ways to improve and make things safer every day.
    • A team-focused attitude – you enjoy working with others and supporting your team when it matters most.
