  • WELCOME TO THE HOME OF IKEA!
Sweden is where it all began – the heart and soul of IKEA. With over 80 years of bold ideas, hard work, and a deep love for the many people, we’re proud of our journey and excited about the future we’re building together. Being the Home of IKEA is more than a place – it’s a mindset. It is an attitude of learning, testing new things, and looking for opportunities beyond the predictable. Now, we’re looking for someone who shares that spirit to join us in a temporary position as Marketing Specialist.

Our Service Office in Helsingborg supports the stores in the areas of sales, store communication & interior design, logistics, restaurant, customer experience, marketing, IT, expansion, finance & administration, risk management, PR & information, and human resources.

To succeed in this role, you have an education in marketing, communication or design. You have a broad passion for marketing, home furnishing and the IKEA brand. You need to have an eye for details, strong collaboration skills, be able to navigate in a fast-paced environment, be skilled at self-leadership and thrive on tackling the unknown.

You have experience in marketing and deep knowledge about marketing channels, both traditional and digital. You know what KPI:s to evaluate and optimize for in the different channels, dependent on objective and purpose of campaign. Furthermore, you have an interest in understanding the behaviors of the many people living in Sweden, the local life at home needs and dreams, and current trends in home furnishing. For this role, you need to be able to communicate fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written.

This role does not require you to do graphic design, copywriting, video or photo editing yourself. If you have that type of competence, it could be beneficial for the collaboration with creative agency, where those assignments sit, but your strengths should be within coordinating and managing marketing campaigns and projects.

    YOUR RESPONSIBILITY
The purpose of this role is to execute marketing communication activities, adapting global content locally and ensuring consistency in messaging, tone and brand identity.

In this role, your main responsibilities will be:

-You will act as a member of the Marketing Communications and Integrated Media team, contributing to our brand, visitation and sales goals. You will also contribute to growing our loyalty clubs for IKEA Family and IKEA Business Network.

-Campaign planning and production from brief to publication in collaboration with Marketing Communications Leaders and Integrated Media Leaders

-Lead campaign management and content adaptation across all channels in partnership with our creative agency

-Manage the production process for all external campaigns

-Secure the consistency of messages, tone of voice and brand identity in our content

-Be the final reviewer and approver of all communications assets that reach our customers

-Actively participate in testing and optimizing content. Gain learnings from campaign and media evaluations and use that to secure continuous improvements of our content and campaigns.

    THE TEAM
The Marketing Specialist, sits in the Marketing Communications and Integrated Media Team. We plan the media buying, communication and content of all campaigns in the Swedish market. You will work closely with a Marketing leader and collaborate on campaigns and projects with the different members of the team.
