  • What you'll need to have

    • Enjoys fast-paced distribution environments
    • Passionate about providing provide great customer service
    • Comfortable with standing, lifting upto 50 lbs, and walking for long periods
    • Warehouse/logistics experience is a plus
    • Forklift license is a nice-to-have, or willing to learn
    • Experience with warehouse equipment is a plus
    • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities
    • People-person, good at building rapport
    • Results-driven
    • Team player, but can work solo
    • Committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace

    A day in your life with us

    • Handle shipping, picking, receiving, and storage .
    • Act as a point of contact for customer interactions related to online orders and handout pickups, ensuring accurate, timely, and friendly service
    • Support order handouts by resolving issues, answering customer questions, and ensuring a positive customer experience
    • Secure merchandise for safe movement
    • Store/stage pallets in assigned locations
    • Maintain safety and security in work areas
    • Promote IKEA culture and embrace diversity
    • Contribute to a positive community and environmental impact.

As a diverse mix of co-workers we use our supply process expertise to balance range and space capacity with forecasting and ordering to provide customers with high availability while minimizing costs.     Work Location: This position will be based at two locations, with approximately 70% of time spent at 1000 Lougheed Hwy, Coquitlam, BC V3K 6N7, and 30% at 1751 Brigantine Dr, Coquitlam, BC V3K 7B4.
