    Implement the Information Security and Data Privacy strategy in the market. Drive compliance to relevant internal steering documents and regulatory requirements in Data Privacy in the country organization to protect the brand.     What you'll be doing day to day

    • Guide and execute operational requirements and activities of a complex nature, including updating local risk registers, conducting assessments to identify privacy requirements for new and existing solutions and processes and data management activities to support the data privacy strategy, goals and objectives.

    • Guide and execute operational requirements to manage local suppliers in the full lifecycle of activities, including selection and ongoing monitoring.

    • Lead collaboration with speaking partners in the business to develop data privacy maturity and governance and for daily data privacy issues, enabling successful navigation and compliance with our steering documents and local Data Privacy legislation, while also staying current with emerging trends and changes in legislation.

    • Build and maintain knowledge and expertise, identifying and implementing solutions to issues, as well as opportunities to achieve industry standard best practice and continuously improve working methods.

    The pay range for this role is $98,757 to $146,902

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • University degree and 4 years of related Digital experience, or minimum 8 years of related Digital experience
    • Experience responding to privacy and data protection inquiries from customers, employees, and business stakeholders, including interpreting privacy requirements, providing guidance on compliance obligations, and resolving complex privacy-related concerns in a timely manner.
    • Experience conducting Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) and privacy reviews for new initiatives, technologies, systems, and business processes, including identifying privacy risks, recommending mitigation measures, and ensuring compliance with applicable privacy legislation and organizational policies.
    • Experience managing privacy incidents and data breaches, including investigation, risk assessment, containment, documentation, stakeholder communications, regulatory notification, and implementation of corrective actions to reduce future risk.
    • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Information Security, IT, Risk Management, and business units, to embed privacy-by-design principles and support privacy governance initiatives.
    • Experience interpreting and applying privacy legislation and regulatory requirements (North America privacy laws, or other applicable regulations) to support organizational compliance and risk management objectives.
