    Your responsibilities

    • Oversee People & Culture (P&C/ Human Resources) responsibilities for key market locations of IKEA units in Navi Mumbai, Worli, Pune, and the Pune Distribution Center.
    • Secure the consistent execution of people processes, frameworks and initiatives across the market locations.
    • Lead, coach and develop a team of Unit P&C Business Partner and co-workers to secure a high-performing People & Culture function across the market.
    • Partner with the Market Manager and Leadership teams to ensure people and culture priorities support business goals, growth ambitions and operational performance.
    • Drive the implementation of the IKEA People strategy across the market, ensuring a consistent co-worker experience and common ways of working across all market locations.
    • Collaborate with business leaders to identify current and future workforce needs and secure effective workforce planning, recruitment and retention.
    • Lead talent and succession planning across the market and support leaders in identifying, developing and retaining diverse talent.
    • Coach and support leaders on performance management, leadership development, organizational effectiveness, co-worker engagement, change management and Total Rewards.
    • Drive Equity, Diversity and Inclusion priorities, driving gender balance, and contribute to creating a workplace where co-workers feel valued, respected and able to grow.
    • Lead and support co-worker relations priorities and people-related escalations in partnership with relevant stakeholders.
    • Maintain focus on coworker relations, compliance with labour legislation, and proactively manage people-related risks across the market.
    • Foster an open dialogue with co-workers and relevant stakeholders to strengthen trust, engagement, and a healthy working environment.
    • Contribute to making IKEA an employer of choice by driving activities that strengthen talent attraction, engagement, retention.
    • Secure the implementation of IKEA Total Rewards frameworks and people processes across the market.
    • Lead and support organizational changes and business transformation initiatives by ensuring effective people planning, communication and change management.
    • Act as the key People & Culture partner and escalation point within the market, collaborating closely with Market Area P&C Manager, Centres of Expertise Manger and P&C Location Operational Services Manager to deliver business results.

    To support the management of the organization’s people and culture. Activities included enveloping people and culture management strategies and policies to meet business needs; planning, administering and reviewing activities concerned with recruitment, training and development, compensation and benefits, mobility, talent acquisition, diversity, talent management & organization development and co-worker relations. The activities of this family also include payroll.
