    What you'll be doing day to day

    • Perform core warehouse processes including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, replenishment, and storing of goods with a focus on accuracy, safety, and customer satisfaction.
    • Execute daily operations effectively using available systems and tools to support efficient workflows and maintain data integrity.
    • Unload, process, and handle inbound and outbound merchandise safely, securing goods for proper movement throughout the distribution center.
    • Identify, document, and remove any damages found or caused during handling of merchandise.
    •Contribute to goal setting for overall warehouse operations and support implementation of local business plans and improvement projects.
    • Analyze daily and seasonal workload demands to ensure efficient volume handling and resource planning.
    • Support high goods availability through timely and precise execution of assigned tasks.
    • Work in a lean, simple, and cost‑conscious manner, sharing good practices to optimize daily operations.
    • Follow all IKEA health, safety, and security rules, actively helping to prevent incidents involving co‑workers, customers, equipment, and products.
    • Collaborate with colleagues and take responsibility for additional tasks or projects as assigned.

    JOB TYPE: Permanent, Part-Time

    HOURS: 20-34 hours per week (HL2).

    Availability needed: 5pm - 3:30am

    The pay for this role is $19.96/hr.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 1 year of related experience.
    • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs./30kgs ergonomically. Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
    • Fluent in English and local language, both written and spoken.
    • Previous warehouse and forklift experience is preferred, but not required.
