About the job
The Recovery Team Leader will be responsible for leading the recovery department in optimizing operations and processes. This role focuses on enhancing customer satisfaction and reducing costs associated with poor quality by proactively managing the team to identify, investigate, and report quality defects in-store.
Your assignment
- Oversee the recovery team to ensure adherence to the As-Is principles and the commercial aspects of the Functional Review for Recovery and Quality.
- Ensure that recovery operations are efficient, effective, and aligned with overall store goals, prioritizing customer satisfaction and quality.
- Monitor product quality, blocking and reporting potential quality issues by issuing Store Quality Reports (SQRs) in CASY. Provide constructive feedback based on customer and co-worker input regarding quality concerns.
- Foster a collaborative environment across functions to ensure all team members contribute to the recovery process, focusing on prevention, revenue optimization, and sustainability.
- Ensure the Recovery area is a safe and secure environment for both customers and staff. Promote a culture of safety where team members feel comfortable raising concerns.
- Actively analyze Quality KPI performance, prioritize initiatives to improve results, and enhance team competencies.
- Develop and implement training programs to promote the IKEA culture and ensure diversity is valued, creating a positive workplace environment.
- Ensure compliance with company rules and standard operating procedures (SOPs) in the recovery area, and actively participate in the iCheck/weCheck process.
Qualification
Your profile
- Strong knowledge of store operations, product range, and supply chain dynamics.
- Understanding of the impact of product quality and safety issues on the IKEA brand.
- Experience leading teams in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Proven ability to lead businesses by inspiring and empowering teams through strong leadership skills.
- Proven ability to prevent product flow issues and optimize revenue from challenges.
- Strong interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Willingness to work weekends, shift hours, and public holidays
