The role is part of Group Treasury where we have the vision to be a robust and forward thinking treasury function. We strive to create a balance between efficiency, security, and innovative financial operations while delivering enhanced user experience and fostering strong relationships with the group companies that we service.
You will be part of the Treasury Controlling & Reporting team whose purpose is to safeguard Inter IKEA Group’s assets while providing accurate, transparent information with integrity. We will achieve this by staying compliant and being a reliable & trusted speaking partner. The controlling and reporting team is an active partner to internal and external stakeholders, delivering its expertise in a simple, practical and business-minded way.
About the job
You as a Treasury Controller at Group Treasury act within the Treasury Control Framework, which describes financial controls, tools and processes to ensure full compliance. You are closely connected with the Group Finance, Accounting and Financial Controlling as well as our Business Functions if required.
More specifically the tasks and responsibilities include:
- Development of Treasury Policies and Rules and the related control frameworks to ensure compliance
- Monitor and proactively manage compliance with Treasury rules and policies, and external regulations on a daily basis
- Production and analysis on a daily basis of a set of key KPIs that measure the financial performance of Treasury companies
- Liaise with Treasury stakeholders to ensure that Treasury control keeps pace with future business development topics and projects
- Produce monthly reports and analysis of net financial income and expense of Inter IKEA Group
- Perform the hedge accounting process for treasury companies as required during the fiscal year
- Provide support to the Treasury group with static data, logical access management and market rate feeds
- Responsible for liaising with internal and external auditors and providing all required information
- Monitor best practice and benchmark the control function against the market and peer companies

About you

You are service minded and enjoy supporting your colleagues across the Inter IKEA Group on a daily basis. You build trustful relationships with all stakeholders relevant for treasury and work collaboratively across organizational and geographical boundaries.
- Bachelor degree or equivalent in Finance or Economics
- At least 5 years experience in a comparable Treasury organisation
- Solid knowledge of Treasury functions and principles
- Be precise, following procedures and internal control mechanisms delivering timely and correct results
- The ability to build strong partnerships with stakeholders to drive understanding
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent command of English (spoken and written)
