IKEA Peterborough Customer Contact Centre are looking to welcome Senior Customer Service Advisors within our Services Team.

WHAT WE OFFER
• The Start Date of employment will be: 10th February 2025
• This role offers a starting salary of £25,860.00 per annum, based on competence & experience.
• 39 hours per week over 5 days out of 7 and working every 2nd weekend, working from the office 1 day per week located at the Peterborough Remote Customer Meeting Point (RCMP). Various shifts available between 07:00 – 20:15 hours.
• After completion of 3-6 months in office training co-workers have the opportunity to apply for hybrid co-worker - split between our IKEA Peterborough office and home (minimum 1 day per week in office).

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
• Solid contact centre experience: Excellent listening skills and a strong understanding of resolving complaints to ensure every customer feels heard and valued. Prior experience in customer support is essential.
• Effective communication skills, the ability to demonstrate empathy and a confident telephone manner.
• Self-motivation with the commitment to find the right solutions for our customers.
• Resilience and the ability to maintain focus in stressful situations.
• Confidence and experience using IT with high attention to detail.
• Professionalism and an ability to work efficiently as part of a team-based structure. Willingness to learn, grow and work within a busy changing environment.
• Due to the location principles for this role all applicants must reside within 1 hour commutable distance from the Peterborough RCMP.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
• Meeting Contact Centre standards, KPIs and service levels.
• Preventative Customer Resolution administration tasks.
• Deliver service and product warranty claims to an effective resolution.
• Engaging in daily Microsoft teams chats with your peers in order to provide and receive support.
• Receive ongoing coaching to enable you to meet and delight our customers.
• Working with Microsoft Office 365, Customer Resolution management system and delivery systems.
