IKEA Nottingham are looking to welcome a Warehouse Assistant to join our hard-working fulfilment team.

We’re on the lookout for enthusiastic Warehouse Assistants who can help us keep the flat-packs flying and the smiles shining. Due to health and safety regulations all applicants must be over the age of 18+.


WHAT WE OFFER

• Start Date of employment will be: 13th of October
• Competitive hourly rate of £12 per hour.
• Various contract sizes from 12 hours to 20 hours, working 3 to 5 days per week and includes 3 out of 4 weekends
• We can discuss flexibility to match your life and our business needs during the interview.
• Working hours are between 2am to 9:30pm, approx.. 4 hours daily. Nightshift only is available.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

• Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential, all you will need is the motivation to make things happen in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to priorities and organise your workload swiftly and with attention to detail.
• Proven experience in utilising technical equipment to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Be self-reliant and motivated, ready to work independently and as part of our team.
• Due to health and safety regulations all applicants must be over the age of 18+.


WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

• Effectively perform the role in the assigned area of responsibility, which includes, manual handling of heavy stock, receiving goods with accuracy, picking and packing orders for customers and keeping accurate records of stock levels. (amend / delete where appropriate)
• Working with or around heavy machinery, such as, Forklift trucks, counterbalance, pump trucks, to safely and efficiently transport heavy goods within the warehouse.
• Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed for a secure environment for both our customers and co-workers.
